The church is more than a building, club, or weekly program. While many people consider church as something to attend, the church is a community of believers called by God through Jesus to obey the commands of God.

Jesus was born a miraculous birth, lived a sinless life, died a humiliating death, rose from the grave, and before ascending to heaven gave His disciples instructions to make disciples. Matthew 28:18-20. The disciples immediately formed the church where they gathered regularly, prayed, devoted themselves to the apostles teachings, proclaimed the gospel, and practiced the sacraments.  Since the resurrection and ascension of Jesus the church has always been the plan of God for the people of God.
